Facial Recognition Integration

EvTrack + SAFR Integration

EvTrack integrates with SAFR (RealNetworks) - a leading AI facial recognition platform - syncing visitor face photos, QR code credentials and access clearance assignments to SAFR cameras, with real-time access events streamed back to EvTrack.

Direction Bidirectional (EvTrack ↔ SAFR)
Protocol SAFR COVI REST API (HTTPS)
Default port 8081
Credentials Face, QR code, Watchlist threat
License EvTrack Advanced
Deployment Cloud or on-premises

How the Integration Works

1

Visitor is registered via EvTrack Portal, FrontDesk kiosk or Guard App - a high-resolution face photo is captured during registration.

2

EvTrack pushes the visitor person record to SAFR via the COVI REST API - including name, person type, access clearance and credential validity window.

3

The visitor face photo is uploaded to SAFR as a face signature - SAFR processes it into a biometric template stored against the person record.

4

If a QR code credential is used, EvTrack converts the unique identifier to a Wiegand card number and sets it as the SAFR access card ID.

5

The visitor's access clearance level is mapped from the EvTrack access control group to the corresponding SAFR access clearance name.

6

SAFR cameras at entry points recognise the visitor's face (or QR code) and grant or deny access based on the clearance level and visit window.

7

ACCESS_GRANTED and ACCESS_DENIED events are streamed back to EvTrack in real time and logged as access control events.

8

On visitor checkout or credential expiry, EvTrack deletes the person record from SAFR - removing face and access card credentials from all cameras.
